Naples Island needs your help! My name is Jonathan Schnack, and I am your new President of the Naples Improvement Association (N.I.A.).

What do you think of when you think of Naples Island? If it’s the Boat Parade, Pancake Breakfast, Colonnade Concerts or Naples Newsletter, then you’re thinking of the N.I.A. The N.I.A. is also an advocate within our great city of Long Beach. We work to strengthen our seawalls and we schedule private security patrols for our entire community. It’s our involvement that helps make Naples so special. Some say ‘it takes a village’; in our case, it takes an Island! It takes an island of dedicated neighbors who are proud of their community. It’s the commitment of caring volunteers that keeps our island special.

One part of that commitment comes in the form of those who are able to volunteer their time. Another part comes in the form of those who can contribute their money to help support our all-volunteer association. Founded in 1928, the N.I.A. has always been dedicated to the preservation and betterment of our community. Without your support, we could never do the great things Naples is known for. I urge you to send in your annual membership check as soon as possible, and I ‘thank you’ if you have already done so.
