Small Boat Parade Start Time ? pm
   The boats start North of the 2nd street bridge by the Long Beach Yacht Club. The boats travel counter clock wise around the islands and enter the interior. Canal by the Colonnade. At that point they travel clockwise within the canal and then exit and travel back to the Long Beach Yacht Club.

Large Boat Parade Start Time ? pm
   The boats travel in the main body of Alamedas Bay in a clockwise circle

Commonly asked questions:
  1. Can I see the parade from a restaurant? NO
    There are many wonderful restaurants in Naples, Belmont Shore and surrounding areas from which you can walk to the parade.
  2. How do I get to Naples?
    Take the 405 South and exit Studebaker. Make a right on Studebaker and take it to the end which is 2nd street to the right (Westminster to the left). Make a right and stay in the right hand lane. Continue down about a mile and make a right on Marine (by Albertsons). Keep to the left and park in the marina parking lot which is open free to the public at 3:00pm.
  3. How do I access Naples?
    You can access Naples off 2nd street on a number of the streets, including Naples Plaza, Ravenna, Tivoli and The Toledo. It is best to park and walk. The islands have very limited parking. If you chose to park on Naples, the Naples Elementary School has limited parking for a contribution of $10.00. The school is located at 5537 The Toledo near Venetta. The lot opens at 3:30 p.m. Consult your Thomas Guide for additional information.
  4. Where do I park?
    Marine Stadium (at 2nd street & Marine, opens at 3:00 pm), Mothers Beach (off Bay Shore/Appian Way), Naples Bayside Academy (5537 The Toledo, at Venetta for a $10 donation, opens at 3:30pm).
  5. 5. Are there any restrooms or porta potties? YES
    There are public restrooms at Mothers Beach and at Bay Shore and 2nd street. There are porto potties at The Colonnade (by the fountain off Ravenna), the Union Bank parking lot (2nd street by The Toledo) and by the Naples Rib company parking lot (2nd street & Campo Walk near Naples Plaza).
  6. 6. Are there any other things going on? YES
    1. There are 3 groups of carolers walking around the islands by the bridges.
    2. Most of the homes in Naples have been decorated for the holidays in accordance of the boat parade theme. Awards are displayed in the windows.
    3. The Naples Island Business Associations has many of the businesses open and decorated for the holiday. The awards are displayed in the windows.
    4. Extra police have been hired for the event to help ensure security and crode control for the islands. The police will be closing vehicle access to the Island when they deem it necessary.
